RFID, you are such a simple technology
What is RFID. Simply put, it is Radio Frequency Identification. It means an object is being tagged (in real physical sense) with something which radiates certain frequency of electro-magnetic spectrum, which in turn is captured by some antenna and these two together create an ID for that object. The principal is simple, and technology is so vastly being used thoughuout the world that one cannot sidetrack it. But there are areas where the untapped potential has yet not been recognized. No doubt, the governments and other non-government organizations are doing extra-ordinarily smart work in providing citizen centric services to the citizens using various platforms of technology.

Who says that IT is information technology? No, it is 'Initiative Technology' on one hand and 'Internal Transformation' on the other. The more initiatives one takes, more and more success stories are created. In fact, while working on such an eGovernance programme, which can touch upon the lives of thousands-nay-millions, it gives you a chance to discover yourself, thus finally transforming yourself internally, along with the process reforms initiated in the eGovernance Programmes.
There are two type of waves. One is mechanical waves and the other is electro-magnetic waves. The mechanical waves are like sound waves which require a medium (like air, water etc.). The EM waves don't require a medium. They travel in vacuum.
Radio waves are a part of electro-magnetic spectrum and their utility was long ago recognnized.
